Death by Angel's tears

Four friends set off on the journey of a lifetime — a globe-spanning adventure sponsored, somewhat ironically, by a major tobacco company. Their expedition began in the rolling green hills of Ireland and was to end on the sunlit steps of the Sydney Opera House, Australia, after crossing five continents.

But they would never reach their final destination.

Rickie was just an ordinary guy — young, full of life, eager to learn, and always ready to lend a hand. His heart was open, and his intentions pure. Along the way, he grew close to Ludz, a charismatic and well-heeled German with an easy smile and a commanding presence. On the surface, Ludz was everything one could admire: intelligent, charming, and generous.

But behind the polished veneer lurked something far darker.
Ludz was a master manipulator — cunning, deceptive, and ruthlessly self-serving. While he drew people in with charm, he quietly orchestrated schemes for his own gain. Those who stood in his way never saw the danger coming. Many, unknowingly, became pawns in his elaborate deceptions. For Ludz, friendship was a tool; loyalty, a currency. And anyone who dared obstruct his ambitions was swiftly shown the road to Heaven.

Rickie and Ludz’s paths became entwined in a journey marked by unexpected turns and twists, betrayals, and a string of misfortunes that would ultimately end in death by unnatural causes.

Their adventure, once full of promise, would end prematurely in tears.

About the Author - Terence Tracey

Terence Tracey is the youngest of seventeen children from an Irish-Catholic family.

On completing school, he entered the hospitality trade as a trainee hotel manager, in the world-famous Towers Hotel in County Kerry, Ireland. He then worked in catering establishments in Paris, where he also took up photography and writing poetry.

He moved to South Africa in the early eighties where he worked for the hotel chains Southern Sun and Sun International for ten years. He then opened his own restaurant in Johannesburg. Terence has three children and he lives with his wife in Randburg, South Africa.
